Coalition Meeting

Coalition Board meeting is an open meeting

on December 2, 2021 at 7:00 PM via zoom (zoom info below)

The agenda is:

1. Reviewing and adopting the Bylaws

2. Determining a new principal office of the corporation

3. Filing a “d.b.a. the College Area Community Council” notice

4. Preparing for and implementing the election of a new board of directors

a. Consolidating the membership roll

b. Determining the election date (should it be held at the same time as, or separate from, the Planning Board election?), and from that, determining the date that notices must be sent to the membership

c. Consulting with the 6 neighborhood groups so that they can determine how their separate representatives will be selected

d. Determining how the staggered terms will be decided (e.g., running for specific term seats, lottery decision, etc.)

e. Writing up an explanation of the changes to the membership, 6 neighborhood groups, website, and College Times

f. Writing up the election procedures (registering new members, nominations process, eligibility, casting ballots via Zoom, etc.)

g. Determining whether to assess membership fees and, if so, the amount

h. Whether to appoint a nominations committee

i. Appointments of Board members to carry out specific tasks

5. If changes are made to the Bylaws, sending the revised version back to the CACC for its approval

6. Propose that CACC adopt a statement that the Coalition is the CACC’s “successor in interest”
